In-Person
In-person classes include classroom and field settings, during which students will take notes, take tests, and perform hands-on practicals involving respirators and chemical suits.
Hybrid
Hybrid classes combine online and in-person learning. Students must complete the online content before attending the hands-on portion of the course. Participating in hands-on practicals is expected to receive the final training certificate for 40-hour and 24-hour courses.
Hands-On Only
Hands-on training is designed for those who have completed an alternative online HAZWOPER training and want hands-on training to become familiar with donning and doffing PPE and perform simulated spill responses. Please note that a certificate of hands-on training will be provided upon completion, stating the PPE used.
